My Comfort

What comforts me? There are many things that comfort me depending on why I need to be comforted. If I had a long, stressful day then I would probably take the longest shower I can and then try to sleep. I won't worry about talking to anybody or seeing anybody because they are probably going to make my day worse. If I need to vent or pour my heart out, I would call up a friend and tell them so they know how I feel. That rarely happens though because I usually don't like to talk about my feelings. If I just need to be comforted because I worked so hard, then I would call up a friend who would be willing to do foot massages and bring me food. That's always an acceptable gesture. I would like to think music and movies help comfort me if people can not. There are certain situations I would not like to listen to music if I need to be comforted. Music is something that would most likely have me emotionally unstable. I don't like to raise my stress level up nor do I like getting mad over everything. However, I have certain "friends" who occasionally like to act childish and I do not like it  whatsoever. A simple "Everything is going to be okay" or "I'm here for you" will go a long way with me. So whoever may be reading this, my advice to you is to always have at least one real friend or close family member to talk to- preferably someone who isn't really judgmental.

  1. Good job. Be careful of the creeping “you” because it found its way into your post.
